These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of products, software, and related services offered under the Defsound Labs brand.

By purchasing, downloading, installing, activating, or using any product from Defsound Labs, you agree to these Terms and Conditions.

Defsound Labs provides digital products, including audio plugins, software applications, licenses, updates, and related digital content.

All software products are licensed, not sold. Your purchase gives you the right to use the product under these Terms and Conditions, but it does not transfer ownership of any intellectual property.

Defsound Labs is an audio software brand operated by RAVISSA, K.K. in Japan.

For purchases made through this site or store, checkout, payment processing, taxes, and invoicing may be handled by FastSpring, which may act as the Merchant of Record for the transaction.

Unless otherwise stated, Defsound Labs grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the purchased product for your own personal or professional use.

You may not:

  • resell, redistribute, share, sublicense, rent, or transfer the product to any third party
  • upload the product files to file-sharing services or public repositories
  • remove, alter, or conceal copyright, branding, or licensing information
  • use the product in any unlawful way

All prices are listed in the currency shown at checkout.

By placing an order, you agree to provide accurate billing and payment information.

Purchases may be processed by FastSpring as Merchant of Record. Where FastSpring acts as Merchant of Record, FastSpring may process payment, calculate and collect applicable taxes, issue transaction records or invoices, and manage the transaction-related financial flow.

Defsound Labs and/or FastSpring reserve the right to refuse, suspend, or cancel an order if fraud, unauthorized activity, abuse, or a technical error is suspected.

Products are delivered electronically.

After successful payment, download access may be provided through the checkout flow, order confirmation, customer account area, email, license email, or another delivery method used by the store.

License fulfillment may be handled automatically through our licensing system after purchase.

It is your responsibility to use a valid email address and to retain access to your purchase records.

Refund eligibility is governed by our Refund Policy.

Where FastSpring acts as Merchant of Record, approved transaction refunds may be processed through FastSpring or the original payment method used for the purchase.

You are responsible for reviewing product descriptions, supported formats, system requirements, and compatibility information before purchase.

Defsound Labs is not responsible for issues caused by unsupported systems, unsupported hosts, operating system changes, third-party software conflicts, or environments outside the product’s stated compatibility.

Defsound Labs may release updates, bug fixes, improvements, or maintenance revisions at its discretion.

We do not guarantee that every product will receive future updates, new features, or compatibility updates for all current or future operating systems, hosts, or hardware.

Reasonable product support may be provided at Defsound Labs’ discretion.

All products, graphics, text, branding, audio, code, and related materials remain the property of Defsound Labs and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or create derivative works from any product except where such restriction is prohibited by applicable law.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Defsound Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, loss of income, loss of business, or workflow interruption arising from the use of or inability to use any product.

Defsound Labs’ total liability for any claim relating to a product shall not exceed the amount paid for that product.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

While we aim to provide reliable products, we do not guarantee that any product will be completely error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with every system, host, or configuration.

Defsound Labs may suspend or terminate your license if you violate these Terms and Conditions.

Upon termination, you must stop using the product and delete all copies in your possession or control.

Defsound Labs may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. The latest version will be posted on this page with the updated date shown above.

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Japan, except where mandatory consumer protection laws provide otherwise.
